Sentence Variety — Course Objectives
At the end of this course, you will be able to say:

identify and label dependent and independent clauses in a given set of sentences
complete sentences using coordinating or paired conjunctions, using a given prompt
combine given pairs of sentences using the appropriate conjunction and necessary punctuation
use conjunctions to combine given groups of sentences into one sentence, changing words where
necessary while preserving the original meaning
match paired conjunction sentences with given explanations that have identical meanings
identify and correct errors in parallel structure in given sentences
edit a given paragraph for anything that is not parallel (including pronouns and tenses)
identify punctuation errors and add correct punctuation to a given set of sentences
write an email updating a supervisor about a project at work, using the following sentence structures at least
